What a funny coincidence!
Yesterday, but still today in some part of the world, we celebrated Columbus's discovery of America (though since 1971 in the United States Columbus Day has been fixed to the second Monday in October, and luckily this year is the same day!).
Yet Italy and America connected again more than 500 years later for a special announcing!
I am very glad to be hosting Weekend Herb Blogging for the second time and hope to be receiving lovely, colored, interesting entries and tips about your favorite veggies from all the globe!
Thanks to Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook for last week's recap, should you ever missed it please give a look, more than gorgeous recipes in it! I have already grabbed some fantastic ideas for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
WHB was created in October 2005 by Kalyn of Kalyn's Kitchen, you will find story here. This event has become popular in the years thanks to all bloggers participating with recipes and informative posts about new ways of cooking with herbs or unusual plant or fruit ingredients.
Since November 2008 Haalo of Cook (almost) Anything At Least Once has been managing this weekly event, all recaps here.
