Black & White Wednesday - Week # 38



 An inviting tour @ Marché de la Bastille,
boulevard Richard-Lenoir between rue Amelot and Saint-Sabin,
on Thursdays: 7am to 2:30pm and Sundays: 7am to 3pm
 a very lively market,
the perfect place to shop around for fresh local products,
putting up a gourmand lunch in a few stops.

pain à l'ancienne - old style bread

mushrooms
fresh mushrooms, different varities

tomatoes and spring salad
salads and vegetables

a bunch of flowers
a bunch of flowers to decorate the table

 olives
which olive for the aperitif?

 fish
ready cut for a fish tartare

but also any kind of fish

to be spiced

 aromatic herbs
or flavored with your favorite herb

a Libanese speciality for impatient bellies

or rather a French galette saucisse

or else Moroccan take-away food

or better African delights?

Wow, Cinzia, these are all very nice images. So much bounty offered at the market. I can see myself getting lost over the spice baskets and would really like to try the Lebanese specialty.
