An inviting tour @ Marché de la Bastille,
boulevard Richard-Lenoir between rue Amelot and Saint-Sabin,
on Thursdays: 7am to 2:30pm and Sundays: 7am to 3pm
a very lively market,
the perfect place to shop around for fresh local products,
putting up a gourmand lunch in a few stops.
pain à l'ancienne - old style bread
fresh mushrooms, different varities
salads and vegetables
a bunch of flowers to decorate the table
which olive for the aperitif?
ready cut for a fish tartare
but also any kind of fish
to be spiced
or flavored with your favorite herb
but please, be polite and queue here
a Libanese speciality for impatient bellies
or rather a French galette saucisse
or else Moroccan take-away food
or better African delights?
rosé cider
or more luxurious champagne?

Ci, you have always had a fine eye for the camera, but your images keep getting better and better. A very stylish and compelling selection of images that you have presented here.
Thank for joining in BWW.
Hi Cinzia, beautiful pictures and looks like a nice food market. Thanks for sending your pictures to B&WW
Thanks, Susan, I am so glad you created this event, it's an inviting chance (growing week after week) to enjoy some moments with another eye.
Usha, very nice indeed, worth a visit! :-)
Thanks for hosting, my dear.
Wow, Cinzia, these are all very nice images. So much bounty offered at the market. I can see myself getting lost over the spice baskets and would really like to try the Lebanese specialty.
Beautiful collection of black and white market photos!
Simona, thanks, and I forgot to take a picture of the cheese corner ... can you imagine "la grandeur" of French cheese? :-)
Lynne, thank you so much, I love shopping at the markets :-)
