Strawberry Frozen Daiquiri

Ripe strawberries for a Daiquiri with fresh fruit.
The "frozen", which is neither liquid or granita, requires a good blender to work well all ingredients by varying the speed: first low, then high and then low again. Only then, with the final step at low speed, it is possible to get the perfect consistency, without large air bubbles that would cause the immediate melting in the glass. The right amount of ice will double the volume of the ingredients put in the blender.
The choice of fruit is very large, but you ought to prefer seasonal ripe fruits. Bananas, peaches, melons, berries, passion fruit, papaya, mango and apricots, it's all up to you.
The right glass for this drink is the margarita cup, which collects the liquid preparation in the lower side, using the straws to drink alternatively liquid and semi-solid to appreciate the two different textures.

The presence of fruit and the frozen texture make the Daiquiri a perfect substitute of the classic sorbet or can refresh the palate in long and epicurean buffets.
You can also try an unusual version with sweetened coffee or chocolate already cooled in the refrigerator.

The "frozen" are born in America, for giving all the lovers of aperitifs and cocktails to repeated at will without head and legs would suffer ... Today they are much in demand because of their particular texture of granita creamy fruit, enhanced by rum (the best lspirit that goes with any type of fruit) and the low alcohol content.
