Yesterday was Shrove Tuesday
also known by our British friends as Pancake Day,
a way to get off rich foods such as eggs, milk, and sugar,
before the fasting season of Lent.
And we had a very delicious and festive breakfast
with this rich and luxury Pancake Cake,
filled with whipped cream,
chocolate, hazelnuts and Brazil nuts,
garnished with fresh raspberrries.
