Weekend Herb Blogging # 305 - la raccolta - the round up

Autumn is truly upon us, temperatures in these last days have fallen very low, but still we are enjoying some sunshine that warm up the days ... but bad weather is announced from Northern Europe to be here tomorrow (sigh!).
But I was lucky ton be in Southern Italy last week for a long week-end (that's why I am a little be late with the recap), enjoying friends, good kitchen, nice places (Positano and Amalfi Coast), lovely shopping (original buffalo mozzarella but also beautiful porcini mushrooms freshly collected from the sourroundings on the way back home!).
Here below very interesting and unusual dishes (at least for me, I always learn something new sitting at your kitchen, like mango-ginger, bitter melon and Oho this week).
Thank you so much for your great participation, I am so glad to have hosted both Italian and English edition at the same time, it's been a long work to read, comment and recap all entries but it gave me a huge satisfaction and still more and more to learn! But a big work was also for those Italian bloggers fellows who follow me in both editions, translating on their blogs the same recipe in English, thank you for that! Don't forget to have a look at the Italian recap above, anyway, Google translater button will help you to discover more yummie recipes!
So ... I have already open a lovely Chiaretto bottle, just take a comfortable seat, fork in your hand and ... enjoy!

Thanks for the vegetably goodness :)
Grazie Mille Cinzia - such a beautiful round up - so many interesting ingredients and wonderful recipes. It's funny I've been seeing giuggiole in all markets here in bologna and I was scratching my head over them and in this recap there's a recipe!
What a nice round-up - your own entry looks very interesting, I've never come across a grape cake. Thanks for the round-up.
Tigerfish, thanks to the greedy participants! :-)
Haalo, thanks for giving me such an opportunity to host! If you are still in time, do buy some giuggiole to take home, they are good to eat when a little over ripen, they loose humidity and become wrinkled, so no problem for the plane, just put them in a paper bag and in the luggage!
Sra, thank you, it was a lovely surprise for me too ... and for many greedy friends of mine! :-)
Grazie Cindy dell'ospitalità, hai creato un post davvero molto carino, colmo di ricette davvero interessanti!Raccolta abbondante e succulente, alla prossima!
Gorgeous round-up! thanks so much for hosting!
Grazie Cinzia! I'm a bit envious about the Southern Italian weekend. Lots of nice ideas here, and well done to all those who managed to post in two languages - I'm always too lazy for that..
Joanne & Lacaffettierarosa, a big thank for your co-operation, whb would be nothing without your help and support! :-)
Cindy, thanks for a beautiful round up - in English AND Italians! (My apologies, I thought I have commented when I review this earlier this week!)
Have a great weekend!
Chris, no apologies, I often comment sooo late! :-), we are all so busy for everything1 :-)
great work for both languages, but great satisfaction then!
Have a nice week!
